• In the heart of Hollywood, amidst traffic and high-rises, sits a lovely turn-of-the-century craftsman-style bungalow, known as Off Vine.
  We are a quiet oasis in a noisy, chaotic city that is Hollywood today. When this charming bungalow was built in 1908, it was surrounded by fruit trees and orange groves, off a newly formed country road called Vine Street. Since then it has survived through the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depressions, Hollywood's Silent and Golden Eras, numerous earthquakes, ambitious land-owners and most recently fire. Once owned by Beryl Wallace, film actress and famed show-girl of the Earl Carroll Follies, we have a chance to glimpse into the past of "old Hollywood".
  We serve California American cuisine with homage to the comfort foods, unstinting portions and simple elegance of the finest home kitchens across the country.  And we serve it for lunch dinner and weekend brunch.
• Come and enjoy us whatever mood you're in: a cozy rendezvous by the fireplace, a hearty meal in our vine-wrapped outdoor garden, or perhaps a celebration with all your friends and family in one of our private rooms.
• Since 1989, Off Vine has been serving a wide range of hearty, home-inspired California favorites with regional American influences….what has come to be known as comfort foods…….that are re-assuringly familiar, but never predictable. We are conveniently located at the famed intersection Sunset & Vine and minutes away from the Cinerama Dome/Arclight Cinemas, Pantages Theatre, Dolby Theatre, Palladium, Hollywood Bowl, Egyptian Theatre, Ford Amphitheatre, and Griffith Park Observatory, as well as the famed Capitol Records building, Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Paramount Studios.

WEDDINGS AND PRIVATE PARTIES

Whether it's an intimate party of 20 or a celebration of 100 let Off Vine host your special event in our 1908 turn-of-the-century, craftsman home.

We offer two private rooms as well as complete buy-outs of our entire restaurant for garden ceremonies and full-service catered receptions.

Our first floor dining-room holds up to 24 guests.  Adorned with a ceiling fan, candle-lit ledges and views of our front porch and vine-wrapped garden, this room is ideal for smaller, more intimate gatherings that require privacy.

Our second floor dining-room holds up to 50 guests.  Boasting 12 foot ceilings, four large windows with views of the Hollywood sky-line and Griffith Park Observatory, its own restroom and a seating area with a piano and two over-stuffed leather chairs, this room is perfect for larger gatherings that require more room, ie: gift and cake tables, projectors and screens, etc. Both rooms are air-conditioned for your comfort. 

In each room the number of tables & their sizes will be dependent on the number of guests in the party.
